A friend of mine, Kelly, and I got in this random conversation the other day...

How many times do you use your towel? 

we were discussing all the stuff we had to do, including laundry...  and she started complaining about all the towels they wash.  The more we talked about it, I discovered they only use their bath towels once, then they go in dirty clothes.  Really??  I use mine at least 3 to 4 times before it gets cleaned.  You're clean (I hope!) when you get out of the shower, why would the towel be dirty from a little water?

Yesterday I took a day to pay back to the soldiers who give up so much for us...  I went with my mom down to San Antonio to the Brookes Army Medical Hospital. They had a BBQ, performances and a raffle for over 300 soldiers, most of whom were badly wounded and will be there at the facility for a while.  These young, brave men and women are so humble that they are scarred and wounded-  but were so appreciative to get a day in their honor.  Here's a few pics to share-  I got back last night at like 1:30am so that's why I may sound super exhausted!  But totally worth the trip.  I met a lot of great people and met some amazing new friends!

Last week some KISS FM listeners and I went to a Spa day with Colbie and had an awesome time!  This is pretty much the only pic of me and Colbie-  and I just discovered I NEED A TAN!!  haha  no fair-  she's from Malibu! 

So

yesterday my brother and I took part in an "Urban Dare"

Kinda like a mini Amazing Race-  it's a scavenger hunt where you are given a list of clues and have to figure out the location in the clue.  Once you get there, you either have to take a pic of you and your teamate or there will be a challenge.  There was 12 that we had to do yesterday and they are all pretty much confined to downtown Dallas.

DAYUM I'm outta shape!  haha  My brother and I teamed up, mostly because we've always said we'd kick butt on the TV show against some of those teams...  this was a lil test for us to see if we could work together...  and we didn't do too bad!  there were about 35 teams of 2 that showed up...  the first place team finished in 1 hour 51 min, Presley and I finished in 2 hrs 31 min.  We stayed around for about an hour or so after and there were a ton of teams that poured in after us.  We didn't stay till the place announcements, but i'd say we finished in the top 10. 

Here's a pic of one of the spots we had to go to and take a pic at...  the heard of cattle by the convention center!  One of the best ones of the day  lol  and I'm glad Pres didn't break a cow in the process.  :)
