this past saturday, my husband (and kids and sister and parents) surprised me with an early birthday present: a LIMO ride to dinner! my birthday isn't until the 19th, but my hubby will be out of town with the kidd's kids trip, so my family got together to celebrate early!! we had---and missed---dinner reservations at benihana, so we drove around in the limo for awhile, and ended up (due to time restraints) eating dinner out on the patio at on the border!!! it was not what was planned but it turned out to be a great evening!!!!!

today my kids got to meet pete wentz from fall out boy. next to high school musical, FOB is the girls' favorite thing on earth right now. very ecclectic of them, huh?

so tomorrow the 18th is my wedding anniversary...my fantastic husband and i have been married for fourteen years!! WOW! congrats to us! but he is going out-of-town for a business trip in phoenix---WTF?!?! this is the first time ever we'll be apart on our anniversary, so it will be kinda sad. but i'll be home with the kids, who serve as a perfect reminder of how great my marriage really is. next year we're gonna celebrate twice as hard!!

how does vh1 manage to come up with so many reality shows that just suck me in?!?! the pick up artist is my latest obsession. it's too much fun NOT to watch. i think we could all learn a thing or two from mr. mystery.

my kids got to meet one of their favorite disney channel stars on saturday night...corbin bleu! if you don't have kids and/or the disney channel, you will have NO idea who he is. but he was super nice and friendly and his concert was a lot of fun. we totally pushed it to the limit!
